Each year, ABTO invites nominations for a number of awards. Nominations can be put forward for any ABTO member and are voted on by the ABTO Management Committee. The recipients are announced at the ABTO AGM. The awards are:

Alastair Wotherspoon Award

This is awarded by the ABTO Management Committee to any non-elected member who has rendered outstanding service to ABTO over a number of years.

ABTO Up and Coming On-Court Official Award

This is awarded by the ABTO Management Committee to the best up-and-coming on-court Official in Great Britain.

ABTO Up and Coming Referee Award

This award was introduced in 2021 and is awarded by the ABTO Management Committee to the best up-and-coming Referee in Great Britain.

ABTO Umpire of the Year and ABTO Referee of the Year Awards

The criterion for each of these awards is ‘outstanding contribution to British tennis in the current year in any capacity’.
