The ABTO Selections Panel supports the LTA by reviewing selections made by LTA Officiating and proposing changes to ensure that they are evenly assigned. The relates to selections of Umpires for professional events and off-court Officials (Referees, Court Supervisors and Control Desk) for all events where the selections are made by LTA Officiating, with final decisions made by LTA Officiating. The Selections Panel also produces guidance throughout the year to help Officials when applying for tournaments and carries out other ad hoc analyses.
