Over 40 members came along to thank Joan Jones for all her work as Membership Secretary over 21 years. It might seem like quite a straightforward role but it required Joan to send out over 400 membership tags for our tennis shoes at the start of each season which sounds like quite a mammoth job. Then as Chair Paul Treacy said , it doesn't end there as Joan was often the first point of contact for people enquiring about joining.

It was great to see "retired" members coming back to wish Joan well. There was a special welcome for Ann Hanson who had held the role of Membership Secretary before Joan. She had done it for 30 years!
