Safeguarding

Safeguarding Policy

It is important that all Children and Adults at Risk are able to enjoy their tennis at our facilities in a safe and healthy environment.

Everyone who is involved in tennis at Cowan Park has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.

Cowan Park Tennis (CPT) is managed by a group of volunteers and, as there is usually no staff on the premises, we rely on the help of everyone using our facilities to ensure the safety of all.

Richard Cook is the designated welfare officer for CPT and he can be contacted at tennisconvenor@giffnock-ltc.co.uk if you have any questions or concerns about safeguarding at our tennis courts.

Remember - if you think someone is at immediate risk of harm dial 999
