Introduction
Aidan, a BLTC member, has offered to set up and run an ongoing online competion system
for the members of our club. This has been discussed thoroughly with the committee and
is fully supported by them.
This is provided by a compay Scala and results can be recorded using mobile phone apps.
A number of other clubs are using this.

Words from Aidan:
"Hi everyone, with the blessing of the committee I'm setting up a mixed singles box league at Bassett open to anyone interested.
This box league is going to be run using a phone app called Scala, downloadable on ios/android. The main benefit of this app is that on commencement of each round players will be put into a group chat with just the players in their box.
Box rounds will run for roughly 3 months and consist of ~6 people. At the end of a round people will move up and down the boxes. Since the general aim of this is to facilitate friendly singles matches in the club, if people repeatedly don't play matches then they will likely be removed from the boxes (not without trying to check in with them first).
The first round will start from 7th October and run until the end of December. Any wishing to play have between now and the 7th October to enter. Players will be put into boxes semi-randomly to begin with, any who join later will enter."
