Recent investments in new courts and LED lighting helps Bath Tennis Club make tennis an all-year round active health sport.
We invite you to our AUTUMN Tennis FEST to experience first hand the new courts and improvements to their facilities, all designed to extend the tennis season into autumn and winter.
Open to all ages and abilities. Come as an individual, a couple or bring colleagues, familiy and friends.
A warm, whatever the weather, welcome awaits. Experience the difference at this sports community hub for tennis enthusiasts - all year round.
Expect an active afternoon with tennis drills, cardio, a fun tournament, junior and family zones and pickleball for all.
BBQ (£6), cakes, cider punch and healthy seasonal fruit bowls.
Rackets and balls provided.

Pickle Ball - Session #1 Court 5
The first of 2x 1 hour sessions providing a chance to try Pickle Ball, a version of tennis with a difference for all ages and abilities. Under coach direction and guidance. Bats and balls provided.
Free play for warm ups Courts 1-4
Registration for afternoon events is 11:45-12:45. Do come along and warm up on one of the 4 courts allocated from noon 'til 13:00. It's a chance for members and guests to mix in.
Family Zone - Court 6
A chance for parents and their children to play tennis together in a fun way before the Children's Zone coaching activities.
Tennis drills and cardio Courts 1-4
A fun way to hit balls and keep fit in groups, be given tips and encouragement in a range of sessions on courts 1-4. You can choose drills or cardio on the day.
Pickle Ball - Session #2 Court 5
The second of 2x 1 hour sessions providing a chance to try Pickle Ball, a version of tennis with a difference for all ages and abilities. Under coach direction and guidance. Bats and balls provided.
Junior Zone - Court 6
May we ask parents to support the junior coaches with attendance on court 6, the Junior Zone from 13:00 - 15:30. After this time the court will be designated a family zone where parents can play tennis and interact with their children. If the 14:00 session is full there is another one at 15:00. We will try to accommodate as many people as possible.
ROLLING BBQ - Please reserve and pay £6.00 on the day
Please give us a guide as to your party's needs for the BBQ by reserving your food. Payment on the day. And we start serving at the earlier time of 13:00. If you're only interested in the sweet stuff, for £2 there will be member-made cake and a paying bar all day with alcoholic, soft and hot drinks - plus cider punch (£5) and freshly-made seasonal fruit bowls (£3). Well, it is an AUTUMN Tennis FEST isn't it? All served by our tremendous team of #VITAL VOLUNTEERS whose commitment and contributions we appreciate and fully recognise.
Mixed Doubles Tournament - Socially Competitive Event Courts 1-4
Having participated in one of the other previous drills, cardio or fun sessions this is a chance to compete with an element of 'serious' fun. Briefing at 13:55, Head Coach, Rich Little will explain the format and rules. This US-style competition provides an opportunity to compete, mix in and play with different people. Points accumulate from each match won and the winners emerge to play in a final providing a great spectacle for everyone. The prize presentation will be at 15:30, followed by the Raffle.

Members and local business give their time and gifts generously to help raise funds to support Bath Tennis Club, a not-for-profit community sports charity. Raffle tickets will be available throughout the day and your purchases are much appreciated.
