The Bath Tennis Club Community
The long-term survival and ability to build a successful club relies fundamentally on developing future tennis stars. Embedding positive experiences combined with developing competent hand eye co-ordination, enhancing SAQs - speed, agility, and quickness. As well as nurturing fundamental knowledge of the game technically, tactically, physically and mentally. Youth Tennis is at the heart of our club program and is delivered by Bath Ace and Rich Little Tennis.
Schools Link Program
Our coaches work hard to establish strong links with its youth community through neighbouring schools, youth associations and clubs. Long-term trusted relationships are in place and very much back in the fore, post Covid-19. The Bath Tennis Club coaching team are currently active in the following schools:
- Bathwick St Mary's
- Newbridge Primary School
- Weston All Saints Church of England Primary School (W.A.S.P.S)

Bath Spa University Tennis Club
Beyond youth, with the lack of facilities Bath Tennis Club has worked hard to support the Bath Spa University Tennis Society to formalise into an established and thriving social tennis club, operating 3 dedicated group club play sessions a week for their members, who in turn are also able to integrate fully into the Bath TC Tennis and Social Timetable. In most recent years, BSU has been able to field competitive teams to play regional University matches, proudly calling Bath Tennis Club their tennis home.
If you're a Bath Spa student and want to find out more details then you can contact BSU Tennis Society on BSU Tennis Society - Facebook or BSU Tennis Society - Instagram

Local Charities & Groups
Our community support also extends to providing access to free courts for organisations such as Mentor +,
We annually donate to Recycaball the Bath Cats & Dogs Home Charity by collecting all of our used tennis balls and giving them a new life with playful animals. We always strive to be environmentally friendly if possible, by re purposing our sport equipment we are also able to minimise waste.
