MAY HALF TERM CAMP 2024

May half term:  Tues 28 - Fri 31 May (4 days)

Mini Tennis is a fun programme which introduces children aged 4-5 to the game of tennis. They will be taught racket and ball skills and introduced to good basic stroke skills. The mini tennis programme covers different shots on each day so to get maximum benefit attending the full week is recommended.

Aged 6 – U10 will concentrate on technique in all the basic strokes and introduce pupils to match play. The group will have 1 hour of technical work, a 20-minute break and 40 minutes of tennis related sports activities or match play. (bring a snack)

Age 10+ sessions are designed for intermediate and advanced players, who need to be challenged and pushed harder. Pupils must be aged 10 or older and be able to rally, volley and serve. Each session will concentrate in depth on basic strokes with an emphasis on game play, doubles strategy & drills. The group will include technical work, a break, tennis related activities and at least 1 hour of match play.

PARENT/GUARDIAN TERMS & CONDITIONS

By signing my child to attend coaching at BTC I am agreeing to my child taking part in tennis at BTC.

I will inform by email to BTC if my child has any special needs, dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions that could affect his/her safety at the club.

I understand that in the event of any injury, illness or other medical need, all reasonable steps will be taken to contact me and to deal with the situation appropriately.

I understand that I must inform the centre of any changes to the contact information provided. 

I agree to BTC holding details of my child’s DOB & address and give consent for contact phone numbers and contact email addresses to be used for all communication. I understand BTC will only hold phone and email details for the parents of children aged U18.

I agree to supervise my children inside the clubhouses and not leave them unattended near the hot drinks machine. I will not allow children in the bar or kitchen area.

It is BTC policy that children under the age of 11 are supervised by a parent/carer whilst at BTC and outside of any coaching lesson or camp. A parent/carer will be responsible for dropping my child at the court and collecting my child from the coach at the end of the lesson.
