TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Members are asked to respect and abide by the following rules:

1. Beechgrove Recreation Grounds and Pavilion are resources shared with Beechgrove Bowling Club. Please treat both with respect and care. The pavilion must always be left in a clean and tidy condition.

2. Members under the age of 14 may only enter the pavilion when accompanied by an over 14.

3.When representing the Club in a sporting fixture, all team members shall compete in a manner of good sportsmanship, regardless of the nature of the competition.

4. We are a family Club with a strong junior membership and accordingly members must not use audible obscenities, make obscene gestures of any kind, or spit whilst on court. Further; throwing rackets, loud outbursts, demeaning individuals and loud arguing about points are not allowed.

5. Please treat all Club equipment with due care and respect. In particular nets must not be over tensioned or lent on and should be wound down at the conclusion of play.

Players are welcome to wear coloured tennis/sports clothing.

Above all, please play with sense and courtesy at all times and enjoy your game!

The Committee reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership of any member in breach of any of the above rules or of misconduct or offensive behaviour to any other member, visitor or employee, whether on the Club’s premises or elsewhere.
