* Can a player join after the course has started? Yes. The online price adjusts to reflect the number of sessions remaining.
* Is equipment provided? Yes.
* Is it possible to borrow a racket? Yes.
* Unable to attend a session. Is it possible to switch to a similar session? That's usually fine. Please check with the coach.
* What do players learn? We aim to teach players the technical, tactical, physical & mental skills required to play good tennis. Players learn about what to do in the different phases of play - serving, returning serve, baseline rallies, approaching & playing at the net, playing against an opponent who is at the net.
* What's the format? Each group coaching session will be based around a theme with a different topic each week. A typical session will start with warm-up exercises designed to develop the skills required to play good tennis such as coordination & agility. Players will then take part in a progression of tennis drills appropriate to their level of play. The session usually finishes with games & point-play. Some sessions will be focused on match-play & players will learn about the tactics & mental skills that will help them to compete effectively in matches.
