* What do players learn? Technical, tactical, physical & mental skills. Each session is based around a theme with a different topic each week.
What is the structure? A typical session will start with warm-up exercises. Players then take part in a progression of tennis drills appropriate to their level of play. The session usually finishes with games & point-play.
* Is equipment provided? Yes.
* Is it possible to borrow a racket? Yes.
* Can a player give a group a try first? Yes. You can contact the coach to arrange a 1-hour group coaching taster session in one of our term-time coaching groups.
* Can a player join after the course has started? Yes, provided that there is still space available in the group. The online price adjusts to reflect the number of sessions remaining.
* How does a player qualify for the member price for group coaching? If the player currently has Berkshire County Sports tennis club membership, the reduced member price will be available when you book online.
* Does a player signed up to a course have to attend all of the sessions in that course? No, they don't. It would be helpful if you could let the coach know if you are not coming to a session to help with planning the sessions.
* I need help signing up. The coach would be happy to help.
* The player cannot attend a session, is it possible to attend a similar session? That's usually fine. We aim to be flexible whenever it's feasible. For example, if there is a similar group on a Saturday & a Sunday, it's usually possible for players to switch between the two. Please check with the coach in advance.
* The weather isn't looking great, is the session going ahead? There is a WhatsApp group for each term-time group to help with communication. The coach will let you know via the WhatsApp group if the session is not going ahead. Alternatively, the coach will contact you via the contact details you have given.
