Notes from the coach
The after-school tennis club is exclusively for pupils of Sonning Primary School who are in key Stage 2 (school years 3-6). The club takes places in the school playground. The club is run by an LTA Accredited Plus tennis coach provided by Berkshire County Sports tennis club. Each session is based around a theme with a different topic each week. A typical session will start with warm-up exercises. Players then take part in a progression of tennis drills appropriate to their level of play. The session finishes with games & point-play. High quality equipment is provided.
