Why Join BCS Tennis Club?

Really friendly tennis club in a great location. The courts are located right next to the large club house which has a bar and changing rooms. There is lots going on throughout the year. Annual membership is good value with many fantastic membership benefits.

 

Membership Benefits

1) Make a significant saving when booking group coaching and junior tennis camps at the member rate.

2) Free court booking: Members can book the courts for free to play with BCS Tennis members.

3) Club mornings: We have a committed group of adults who meet to play throughout the year on Tuesdays and Friday mornings from 10am. New players are very welcome to join.

4) Club nights are on Monday & Thursday evenings from 6pm.

  • Our club nights for adults & older juniors are really friendly.
  • We welcome new players who can try out a club night before joining the club.
  • We play short matches to four games against a variety of opponents.
  • Tennis balls are provided.
  • After tennis there is the option to stay for a drink and chat in the clubhouse bar.
  • We have a lively WhatsApp group for club nights which members can join.

5) Competitions: We enter teams in the Berkshire LTA leagues and we also run tournaments & box leagues. If you take part in our coaching program, you can learn the skills to compete more effectively.

6) Tennis club membership includes membership of Berkshire County Sports Club & 10% off at the bar.

7) Fancy getting show court tickets at Wimbledon next year? Members of the tennis club can opt into the Wimbledon ticket ballot.

The Sports Club

Berkshire County Sports Tennis Club membership includes a BCSC membership fee allowing you to enjoy the large club house with it's many facilities. Your BCSC membership card entitles you to a 10% discount on food & drinks from the bar.

If you are already a member of another sports club at BCSC please email the Tennis Club at tennisbcsc@gmail.com with your evidence of your membership of another BCSC sports club. Then you will be able to join the Tennis Club excluding the BCSC membership fee.

 

How To Join

The Berkshire County Sports (BCS) Tennis Club membership season starts on April 1st and ends on March 31st annually. You can follow these steps to join. We offer a variety of subscription levels and payment is by bank transfer.

1) Register your details, by selecting the appropriate membership category at the bottom of this page.

2) Make payment. Payment to be made via Bank Transfer to Berkshire County Sports Tennis Club bank account:

  • Sort Code: 30-91-11 and Account Number: 01505279 using your name as a reference

The season (April to March) membership fees for 2023-24 are as follows:

  • Adult: £122.50 (25% off normal price) - includes BCSC Fee of £56
  • Young Adult £130 (aged 19-30) - includes BCSC Fee of £56
  • Off Peak Adult:  £115 (Weekdays only till 5.30pm) - includes BCSC Fee of £56
  • Senior 65+: £110 - includes BCSC Fee of £35
  • Off Peak Senior: £85 (Weekdays only till 5.30pm) - includes BCSC Fee of £35
  • Students:  £75 (aged 18-21 and over 21s in full time education)- includes BCSC Fee of £25
  • Juniors: aged up to 18: £40 - includes BCSC Fee of £9

If you are already a member of another sports Section/Club at Berkshire County Sports, the BCSC Fee does not need to be paid again.

LTA British Tennis Membership & Wimbledon Ticket Ballot

If you haven’t already done so, please also remember to sign up as a member of British Tennis. You will have access to an exclusive area of the website, in which you will find, features tips and information from around British Tennis. 

The Wimbledon ballot is in April for members from the previous season. The Wimbledon Ballot is now done automatically by the LTA. You must be a member of the LTA and have opted in to be included in the automatic draw.

 

Booking Courts

The Tennis Club provides free access to the courts for members to play with other BCS tennis club members. Members will need to provide their own tennis balls.

Once your membership fee has been paid, you will be able to book courts and be given the code for the smart gate. Please read the email confirmation when booking your court as this has the guidelines for safe use of the courts.

Anyone and Everyone can book our courts on a Pay & Play basis. Just pay £10 per hour per court.
