We are a playing section of Beverley Town Cricket and Recreation Club based at Norwood Park Beverley - a haven of sport adjacent to the town centre and within walking distance of all local amenities.
The Beverley Town Tennis Club has 5 grass and 2 hard courts located in the picturesque surroundings of the Beverley Cricket Club on Norwood Park, ideally situated within walking distance of the town centre. We offer a range of tennis activities across the week including
Cardio /social tennis - Monday evenings 6.30 onwards, - all year, weather permitting.
Mixed Team tennis (match play) Tuesday evenings 6.30 onward (summer)
Ladies Team Tennis (match play) Wednesday evenings 6.30 onwards (summer)
Mens Team tennis (match play ) Thursday evenings 6.30 onwards (summer)

Junior and Adult coaching groups are available all week with Tom Davies Tennis School, based at the club. Tom and his team offer lessons and sessions suitable for all ages and abilities. Please see the coaching tab for more information or follow his link -
Annual subscription packages for 2026-2027 can be found on our Membership page
Membership holders are entitled to play all sports on offer at Norwood Park and access the main clubhouse and bar. Prospective new members can have two free playing sessions to "try out" the club before being required to become a member.
Pay as you play
If you are a non member and have an individual LTA registration number you can book a court at the club for £10 per hour
Court booking for members-
court bookings are free for members - however members need to have registered with the LTA and have an LTA membership number. This can be done in affiliation with the club via the LTA website and is free of charge.
Winter Events -
we entered a team in the new Driffield Winter League- teams consist of two men, two ladies and the match format is an hour of ladies and men's doubles and an hour of mixed doubles.
Our team fared well in this new league and enjoyed the format of play.
Summer
We are hoping to enter a mens team in the Yorkshire League for 2026 - Tom Davies is leading on this team and a new venture for the club.

Padel - exciting news !
The club is working closely with Norwood Padel to bring padel to the club in 2026. This will mean some court changes for the club should planning permission be granted- further information to follow as we progress the new project !
Funding
We were fortunate to be able to invest in in a set of portable floodlights last year, thanks to a generous donation from the Ivan Usher Memorial Fund and this has enabled junior evening coaching sessions to continue with Tom Davies and his team through the winter.
Regulation
We are an LTA registered club, comply with all required heath and safety and safeguarding requirements , and hold ERYC Sports Club Accreditation.
