Billericay Lawn Tennis Club runs internal club competitions exclusively for members every year and special events such as American Tournaments are run throughout the year.  These special events will be displayed on the main notice board in the entrance hall and on the website.

Club Championships

The Billericay Lawn Tennis Club Closed Championships are open to club members only. Events are open to both Senior and Intermediate members of the Club. In the Senior Championships the Mens and Ladies Singles competitions have been run since 1956. The Mens, Ladies and Mixed Doubles competitions have been run since 1957. The under-21s competition has been run since 1991. In 2007 two new competitions Mens Veterans doubles and the Mixed Veterans doubles were introduced for the slightly older but still competitive members of the club. In 2013 a Mens Singles Plate competition was introduced.

BIll Hawes Trophy

The Bill Hawes Trophy is a mixed doubles event where the combined age of the doubles partnership is 80+. The event is normally held during the winter months with the final held in early Spring.

Mike Thurlow Trophy

The Mike Thurlow Trophy is a mens doubles event where the combined age of the doubles partnership is 80+. The event is normally held during the winter months with the final held in early Spring.

Honours Boards

There is a traditional honours board in the clubhouse which displays all the winners going back to 1956.
