We were thrilled to host the Essex Open Grade 3 tennis tournament again this year and for the 15th successive year.  This year the Essex Open Tennis Tournament was held at Billericay Lawn Tennis Club Sunday 28th July - Saturday 3rd August inclusive.  The Essex Open is one of the most prestigious Grade 3 events in the county and is a huge success every year.

This event provides a great opportunity for us to showcase our tennis club and its facilities, and a chance for all our players to compete in excellent quality matches at home. Billericay players had significant success. Well done  to our BLTC members who picked up trophies (Amathea, Cristian, SumSum, Olivia, Sofia, Benji, Oscar) as well as 3rd/4th place finishes and consolation finals (Chayah, Mia, Brogan, Olivia, Danny, Will, Oliver).

Racket Stringing

Professional stringing service will be available onsite throughout the tournament from Certified LTA tournament stringer Lynsey Read of Essex Strings. Certified with the UKRSA, USRSA and GRSA. A vast range of strings will be available or you can provide your own. Re-gripping and over-grips also available. Lynsey will be on site every day of the Essex Open providing a professional stringing service.
