We were thrilled to host the Essex Open Grade 3 tournament again last year. This event provides a great opportunity for us to showcase our programme and players in the county, and a chance for all our players to compete in excellent quality matches at home. Billericay players had significant success, winning 9 of the events, finishing as runner-up in a further 5, third place in 3 events and having 4 consolation draw winners. A particular mention to Edie Griffiths who won all 4 of the events she entered.

The Essex Open is one of the most prestigious Grade 3 events in the county and is a huge success every year. This year the Essex Open Tennis Tournament will be held at Billericay Lawn Tennis Club Sunday 23rd July - Saturday 29th July inclusive and we are proud to host the Essex Open Tennis Tournament for the 14th successive year.

Racket Stringing

Professional stringing service will be available onsite throughout the tournament from Certified LTA tournament stringer Lynsey Read of Essex Strings. Certified with the UKRSA, USRSA and GRSA. A vast range of strings will be available or you can provide your own. Re-gripping and over-grips also available. Lynsey will be on site every day of the Essex Open providing a professional stringing service.
