At Billericay Lawn Tennis Club we offer different categories of adult and junior membership from complete beginners to experienced players. For adults, we can provide competitive tennis for experienced players and/or social tennis for all abilities and for all ages. For minis and juniors, we have coaching squads every weekday afternoon from 3.15pm - 7:30pm, and every Saturday from 9.00am - 1.00pm.

Guests/Visitors
Members are welcome to bring visitors to the club to play and use the club’s facilities. Visitors should be signed in by the club member in the visitors book which is located in the club house lobby. Visitors fees are £5 for outdoor courts and £7 for indoor courts (winter only). Members can invite guests a total of six times in any one year. Floodlight charges are not included. Visitors are not allowed at members social sessions.
The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March the following year. Membership fees are due by the 1st April and will be discounted on a pro rata basis throughout the year month by month.
NOTE: Membership fees shown below are pro rata discounted fees as of the current month until 31st March including a one-off joining fee, where applicable, for new members on taking up membership.

Adult Country 2025/26

Country Members can play at any time and have full playing rights. Country members can book courts 14 days in advance, enter club competitions, and play in league teams. Annual membership is £320.
Eligibility: Adult players over the age of 18 and living over 25 miles away from the tennis club. £50 joining fee for new members
Adult Full (Over 65) 2025/26

Full Members age 65+ can play at any time, seven days a week and have full playing rights. Full members 65+ can book courts 14 days in advance, enter club competitions, and play in league teams. Annual membership is £368 plus £50 joining fee.

Adult Midweek (Over 65) 2025/26

Midweek Members age 65+ can play on weekdays only. Midweek members age 65+ can book courts 14 days in advance, enter club midweek competitions. Midweek members 65+ cannot play in league teams. Annual membership fee is £262.
Eligibility: Adult players over the age of 65. The midweek section is specifically for members who only want to play on weekdays between the hours of 8am - 7pm. For new members there is a one off joining fee of £50.
Adult Midweek 2025/26

Midweek Members can play on weekdays only between 8am - 7pm. Midweek members can book courts 14 days in advance, enter club midweek competitions. Midweek members cannot play in league teams. Annual membership fee is £296.

Adult Winter 2025/26

Winter members can play off peak from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Winter members can book courts 5 days in advance. Annual membership is £188.
Eligibility: Adult players age 18+. Winter Membership is only available between 1st October - 31st March. For new members there is a one off joining fee of £50.
Junior Parent 2025/26

Junior Parent members can play midweek from 8am - 7pm or on weekends at any time but only when playing with their children who are junior members of BLTC.
Eligibility: Junior Parent members can book courts 2 days in advance, but cannot enter club competitions, or play in league matches. Annual membership fee is £72. No joining fee.
Junior Tennis (11 - 18) 2025/26

Junior members can play midweek only from 8am - 7pm. Junior members can play on weekends at any time but only when playing with their parent who is a Junior Parent member. Junior members cannot book courts.
Eligibility: Junior players aged 11 - 18. Boys and Girls. Junior members can enter club junior competitions, and play in league matches. Classes are available for junior players. Annual membership fee is £98. No joining fee.
Mini Tennis (Under 11) 2025/26

Mini members can play midweek only between 8am - 7pm. Mini members cannot book courts. Mini members can enter club mini competitions, but cannot play in league matches. Classes are available for mini players.
Eligibility: Mini tennis for boys and girls age from 3 - 10. Annual membership fee is £49. No joining fee.
Social 2025/26

Social members can use the club's facilities such as the bar but not the tennis courts. Social members are welcome to attend social functions.
Eligibility: Anybody age 18+
Student Living at home 2025/26

Student Members can play at any time and have full playing rights. Student members can book courts 7 days in advance, enter club competitions, and play in league matches. For new members there is a one off joining fee of £20.
Eligibility: Students aged 18 - 25 who are living at home, must be in full time education and able to produce a valid student union card on request. Annual membership fee is £168.
Student Living Away 2025/26

Student Members can play at any time and have full playing rights. Student members can book courts 7 days in advance, enter club competitions, and play in league matches. For new members there is a one off joining fee of £10.
Eligibility: Students aged 18 - 25 must be in full time education and able to produce a valid student union card on request. For students who are living away from home, at least 50 miles from Billericay Lawn Tennis Club. Annual membership fee is £60.
Under 21 2025/26

Under 21 members can play at any time and have full playing rights. Under 21 members can book courts 7 days in advance, enter club competitions, and play in league matches. For new members there is a one off joining fee of £20.
Eligibility: Adult players between the ages of 18-21. Annual membership fee is £177.
