As Birkdale Lawn Tennis Club is a sport section of Southport and Birkdale Sports Club members have full access to all the facilities at the club.

• 4 all-weather, 2-toned green artificial grass courts with floodlights (resurfaced in 2022)
• Tennis pavilion
• 3 squash courts
• Snooker room 
• Indoor table tennis
• Indoor cricket school
• County-size cricket playing field

Main clubhouse facilities 

At S&B we have a large & active social scene with a variety of functions throughout the year, based around our award winning bar, we serve a wide range of cask conditioned ale, draught beers, as well a large selection of bottled beer, cider & wine, all of this set within comfortable and well-appointed lounge bars.

We have two lounges, the Southport Lounge (overlooking the cricket ground and floodlit tennis courts). Plus the newly refurbished Birkdale Lounge. Both of our bars have large screen TVs showing a wide range of sporting events including football, rugby & cricket matches on Sky Sports & BT Sports throughout the year.

Food is available Tuesday to Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 12 noon - 9pm and Sunday 12 noon - 7pm (Last order 30 minutes before end of service).

The bar is open from 5pm – 11pm weekdays and 11am – 11pm at weekends.
