Pay and Play
Locals and Visitors: you are very welcome to play. The charge is £10 per court (maximum of four players) per hour and the use of rackets and balls is FREE!.
Step 1: Decide which of the three courts that you would like to play on. Court 1 has an Astorturf surface - better for youngsters and the knees. Courts 2 and 3 are a hard tarmac surface. All three courts are in good condition.
Step 2: Make your choice of day and time and follow the online instructions to make your payment.
Step 3: You will receive an automatic confirmation of your booking. Please read the useful guidance and the Access Codes for the courts and Clubhouse. Do keep a copy. Also, read our 'Rules for Play' to protect you and the Club. These are on this website and displayed by the courts and in the Clubhouse.
Step 4: Please wear sports shoes for your safety and to protect the court surfaces. Avoid loose clothing or anything that may contribute to a fall.
Step 5: On arrival, if you wish to use rackets and balls you will find these in the Clubhouse entered by the Access Code on your Confirmation. The rackets are located on the rear wall near to the toilet door. Please spray the handles with the sanitiser provided.
Step 6: Enter the courts by the gate. Use the Access Code in the Confirmation to unlock the keyed padlock.
Step 7: The nets may need to be adjusted to the correct height using the wooden baton located near the nets. Use this to line up along centre of the net, gently wind the net up until the net reaches the line marker.
Step 8: Enjoy your tennis!
Step 9: If you have played on the Astroturf court please brush it at the end of your game following the on-court instructions.
Step 10: On leaving the courts please lock the gate and scramble the numbers.
Step 11: Please return rackets to the Clubhouse in the rack and return the balls. Close the Clubhouse door.
Step 12: Please come again! Tell your friends. If you expect to make several bookings please check out our three month Taster membership as it may be cheaper for you.
