4. Upcoming Course Dates 2-23/24 Academic Year
Training is delivered via the Royal Life Saving Society.
The courses cover a wide range of CPR and first aid skills and equip first aiders with the ability to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
The courses are suitable for all industries and enables employers to meet HSE requirements.
On completion of this course, candidates receive accredited qualifications, endorsed by CIMSPA which means that training has been quality assured by CIMSPA and is delivered by a CIMSPA education partner. It is also in line with the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF).
- Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)*, 7.5 hours
- First Aid at Work (FAW)*, 20 hours (new candidate, 14 hours renewal candidate)
- Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA)*, 7.5 hours
- Paediatric First Aid (PFA)*, 14 hours
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Programme*, 4 hours standalone qualification, 1.5 hours bolt-on
- Anaphylaxis Management*, 4 hours standalone qualification, 1.5 hours bolt-on
- Combined Paediatric First Aid (PFA) & First Aid at Work (FAW)*, 20 hours (new candidate, 14 hours renewal candidate)
- Combined Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) & Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)*, 14 hours
Courses less than 10 hours = £125 per person (primary schools receive £50 off, coming to £75 per person)
Courses more than 10 hours = £175 per person (Primary schools receive £50 off, coming to £125 per person)
