1. Introduction

We follow Swim England’s framework and utilise the Royal Life Saving Society’s programmes to deliver the highest standard of swimming lessons. We offer lessons for all age ranges and abilities, for all members of the community - from beginners to advanced, child or adult, and have excellent links to exercise groups and clubs. Class sizes for the early stages are restricted to ensure pupils receive the right level of attention. We aim to promote water safety and encourage everyone to stay active for life.

Our swimming lessons are aimed at any swimmer aged 4 years and above (and swimmers need to be at least 1.0 metre tall due to pool depth). If your swimmer is 3 years and below, we can put you in touch with groups who offer lessons for these ages.

2. How to Book

Five Steps!

1. Email - swimmingpool@bloxhamschool.com and let us know your swimmer’(s) age and swimming ability.

If you are a complete beginner, stage 1 is for you.

If you have some swimming experience, you can compare yourself with the ‘Swim England’s Learn to Swim Framework’ stages, and let us know which stage you would feel comfortable in. Alternatively, let us know whether you have previously attended lessons elsewhere and the level achieved.

What will happen next?

2. Response – we respond via email within 4 working days to offer available days and times

3. Enrolment form - we will issue a link to our booking form if you are able to attend the available days and times

4. Payment requests – we issue prior to your first swimming lesson to cover the remaining dates of the current month and the upcoming month.  Payment currently accepted via electronic mandate only.

5. Turn up to your lesson!
