Facility Hire, Camps & Courses

Sporting and non-sporting facilities

 

Non-Sports Facilities

These include classrooms, halls, auditoriums, performing arts facilities, and meeting rooms.

 

  1. Private Event Hire

    • For birthday parties, weddings (in future), or community events.

  2. Educational or Training Sessions

    • Tutors, adult education providers, or training companies may hire classrooms or IT suites.

  3. Community Group Meetings

    • Local clubs, societies, or groups may use school spaces for regular meetings.

  4. Performances and Rehearsals

    • Drama groups or choirs may rent auditoriums or music rooms.

  5. Many more

    • Schools are sometimes hired by local authorities for civic purposes.

    • Arrange a tour with us, or visit our sports centre Monday to Thursday 6-9pm.

  3. Community Use Agreements

    • Agreements with local societies or community groups allowing public access during non-school hours.

  4. Club Partnerships

    • Local sports clubs have arrangements to use school facilities regularly.
    • Individuals can join these clubs to gain access.

  5. Event or Tournament Hosting

    • Offering sports facilities for tournaments, charity matches, or training camps.

List of Facilities

All bookings (for the services and facilities below) must be made by contacting us.

(Raymond Field rugby pitches and athletics track markings - at present, we do not offer hire of our grass pitches)

2. CAMPS (Coming 2025/26) & Courses

  • First Aid - 1-day, 2-day and 3-day; Royal Life Saving Society; regulated by OfQual and suitable for a wide range of settings

(First aid courses run once per month, dates to be publicised).

 

  • Pool Rescue Qualifications - Royal Life Saving Society, NRASTC and NPLQ

(Dates arranged in accordance with the number of enquiries by groups or individuals).

 

 

3. Swimming Lessons

  • Children and adults (ages 4 and above)
  •  Swim England: stages 1-7
  •  Royal Life Saving Society: rookie lifeguard and survive & save

  • Squash and tennis courts are directly bookable via this website. Bookable online via one-off bookings for non-members or booked via membership.

The Booker App is specifically for tennis and squash courts at present. Please email leisure@bloxhamschool.com for all other facilities.
