The Club is very fortunate in having two LTA-accredited coaches to help players of all ages and standards to improve their game and get the most from their time on court.

Level 4 Performance and Club Coach Kingsley Harris and LTA Level 3 Coach Clare Bell are available for one to one or group coaching on request.

• Coaching classes for junior members are run on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and early evenings.  All players must be fully paid up club members but there is a special discounted membership fee of just £30 a year for juniors who sign up for regular group coaching with Kingsley.   Click here for the Junior Summer Term Coaching Programme and sign up.
• Free trial sessions for juniors  of any age are available Mondays or Wednesdays and racquets can be provided.   Individual lessons for 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour can also be arranged.
• Kingsley offers a free introductory lesson for new adult members - contact him to arrange a date!   
• Tactics sessions for match players - Saturdays and Mondays
• Rusty Rackets - NEW FOR 2026!  A six week course run by Clare for anyone returning to tennis after a break or needing to refresh their game.  Starts Friday 17 April at 2pm.
• Tots Tennis - for 4-6 year olds, Fridays at 4pm.
• Prospective members can book up to three coaching sessions before committing to joining the club - contact Kingsley or Clare for details of coaching fees and availability.

Level 4 LTA Performance and Club Coach

We’re very lucky to have Kingsley, an LTA-accredited Level 4 Performance and Club Coach, a trained LTA tutor, a Padel coach and qualified tournament referee. Kingsley has many years' experience as head coach at large and medium-sized clubs and as an LTA county and regional coach.  He has worked with players from beginners to national junior winners, has captained county teams across all age groups and has a wealth of experience in Talent ID. Clare Bell

Level 3 LTA Coach

A qualified LTA level 3 coach, Clare has been coaching at BVLTC since 2023, introducing tots' tennis sessions and offering individual and group coaching for all ages and abilities.  Clare has many years of playing experience from representing the region and county as a junior and more recently competing in the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Masters' Tour and being ranked 2nd in her age group nationally.  For more information on the coaching Clare offers please contact her direct on:
