Rain couldn't stop Bourton tennis players from getting out on court at the 2025  BVLTC Christmas Social on Sunday 7 December. The original plan was to begin play at 10am but with a 90% chance of rain forecast at that time members were advised to come at 12 instead. It did rain, but four brave people turned up at 10 to start play in spite of the conditions. Others joined in later, so there were about three hours of tennis in all. Several more club members came for food and drinks and the clubhouse was suitably decorated so it was a very festive occasion despite the damp weather. A range of delicious homemade breads, muffins and cakes was on offer, eloquent testimony to the members' baking skills. Thanks to everyone who helped organise another fun event at Bourton Tennis Club.
