Brabyns is a venue that provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment and offers a high quality programme of activity.  Members can have confidence in the safeguarding policy we have along with all year round high quality coaching, social and competitive tennis on three floodlit artificial clay courts and four real clay courts.  For full details of our safeguarding, GDPR and diversity policies, click through to Policies 

PLAYING TIMES
Club league and cup matches have priority at all times.  Senior members have priority except as stated below.
Weekday members are entitled to play Monday to Friday inclusive up to 6.00pm (Fridays to 4.00pm), except up to 4.00pm when junior coaching may have to use all three artificial clay courts due to the real clay courts being unplayable.
Mixed social tennis: Saturday from 2.00pm
Men’s club night priority: Monday from 6.30pm
Ladies’ club night priority: Tuesday from 6.00pm
Junior priority: Friday from 4.00pm, Saturday before 2.00pm, Sunday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm and court 7 at all times that seven courts are playable.
Floodlights can only be used up to 10.00pm each evening.


COACHING TIMES
Junior programme coaching use three courts (five when all courts are available) on Saturday up to 2.00pm; Monday to Friday between 4.00 and 6.30pm.

Non-programme (private) coaching can use one court (two when all courts are  available) except: when junior programme coaching is in progress, on Saturday from 2.00 to 5.00pm, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm and at the same time as junior and senior matches.


FOOTWEAR AND CLOTHING
Please wear only flat soled tennis shoes – no prominent heels or heavily patterned soles. No trainers please!
Clothing: Recognised tennis clothing must be worn or members may be refused the right to play.

NB
Courts: After playing it is the responsibility of all players to drag brush the courts, including along the fencing and clean the lines. Please knock the clay from your shoes before leaving the courts. 
Court etiquette: Please do not walk across the back of the courts while play is in progress. Please close the gates.
Junior members: Please remember you are not allowed to use the clubhouse without a senior member in attendance.

● Five men’s and four ladies’ teams in the North East Cheshire Summer League

● Seven mixed teams in divisions of the East Cheshire Winter League

First class coaching

● Quality coaching for juniors and seniors from a professionally LTA qualified coaching team

● Dozens of junior coaching sessions throughout the week to cater for 4-18 year olds

● Popular holiday coaching programmes, with an emphasis on fitness and fun!

Flexible memberships

● No joining fee, competitive rates (less than £5 a week for adults) and an option for payment of membership fees by monthly direct debit

Social tennis

● Fun yet competitive tennis events throughout the year as part of the social diary when all members are very welcome.  Refreshments usually provided.

Social events

● We host social events to encourage members to socialise off-court – events have included live music, race night, gin tasting, bonfire supper and quiz nights.  The clubhouse benefits from a fully stocked bar, open on these occasions.
