Key Club Documents

Club Constitution

Our Constitution is a simple but essential document that outlines the club’s functions and the rules under which it operates. Having this Constitution clarifies how the club’s procedures work. The Constitution, together with our policies and procedures, help to protect the rights and interests of club members, make our club run more smoothly.

The Constitution was rewritten in 2022 and approved at the Annual General Meeting on 8th February 2023.

Club Charter

Our Club Charter was produced by our committee with input from a number of members; it also reflects the results of the club survey that we conducted in 2020.  It was first published at the start of the 2021 tennis season.

Following two very successful years (2021 and 2022), we have refreshed the Club Charter, setting new goals for 2023 and 2024.

We welcome feedback from members and all other stakeholders.

Safeguarding

We recognise that we have a duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults who participate in tennis at our club.  We are committed to ensuring that our safeguarding practice meets statutory responsibilities and complies with best practice.

Our safeguarding policies and best practice guidance can be found on our Safeguarding page.
