Following the Scottish Government's statement on the 28 May that we are moving to Phase 1,  we are delighted to announce that the courts can be opened to members from 1st June 2020 and we can return to restricted play.

We know how important it is for people to be active, and the particular role tennis can have in the physical and mental wellbeing of those that play it. By its very nature, tennis is an activity whereby close person to person contact can be avoided.

Based on recent Scottish Government guidance and following the adjustment of lockdown restrictions, Tennis Scotland & the LTA has developed a set of practical guidelines to follow so that tennis can be played in Scotland consistent with the new route map moving out of lockdown, where the local environment allows. Please familiarise yourself with the new rules of play under Covid-19.

Despite all our fundraising efforts, we are still some way short of the amount needed to pay for our new roof trusses. We are asking all members and friends of the club to help. We are still taking donations. If you require any further information, please contact: Pat Reid on enquiries@dunfermlinetennis.co.uk www.justgiving.com/dunfermlinetennis-bridgeclub
