Welcome to Bucklebury Tennis Club

Thanks for visiting our website which provides you with all you need to know about our club.

Bucklebury Tennis Club is a small village club offering family, competitive and social tennis to those who live in and around the parish. The club is self financing and derives virtually all its income from membership subscriptions. Membership is on an annual basis and runs from 1st April to 31st March, and allows for unlimited use of the courts with an online booking system on this site for playing up to 1½  hours per sessions. The courts are kept locked but all paid up members are issued with a key for access.

Throughout the season the club runs a number of social events, including Club evening mix-ins, friendly matches, barbeques and tournaments. The two all weather courts both have floodlights to extend playing times.  As members of the Newbury and District LTA, the club participates in the District leagues and tournaments and has for some years held the top position in the Mens top Division. Bucklebury Tennis Club also have teams in the Berkshire LTA leagues.

From 1st April 2024 our yearly subscriptions are as follows:

Family subscription (All members of the same family living at the same address including children under 18 or in full-time education)  £85 

Adult subscription £60 

Distance Adult (Adult living over 35 miles away from  Bucklebury and being either a past member or having a prior connection to Bucklebury) £37

Junior membership under 18s (if not part of a Family membership) £15

Student membership £25.

The club commenced its affiliation with the British LTA in March 2011.
