Courts may be booked for 1 hour for a fee of £10 (excluding floodlights). This is the total cost for 2 to 4 players on one court for 1 hour. If you have already registered with the club then login and proceed to select your chosen date, court, and start time and click on the corresponding box. Then click on "Continue Booking", then sign in and continue with your booking and payment.
If you have not yet registered, then you must do so before you can book a court. Select your chosen date, court, and start time and click on the corresponding box. Then click "Continue Booking", and then on the next page that appears click on "Click Here" which is to the right of the text "Haven't created an account". Then complete the registration details and on completion continue with your booking and payment. The next time you want to book a court just use your username and password that you selected during registration and then go straight to booking a court - you will not need to re-register.
FLOODLIGHTS are now available for Pay & Play bookings.
If you book a court for any time around or after sunset, you will need floodlights. You can purchase floodlight tokens from the Beversbrook office, each token costs £2 and lasts for 30 minutes. You must bring the exact change if you wish to purchase tokens. Insert your tokens into the right-hand slot-machine within the WHITE electrical box between the clubhouse and court 1&2 gate then go to courts 3&4 to play. Note that, 5 minutes before the end of your 1 hour session a blue light will start to flash on the floodlight pole nearest to the gate to indicate that you only have a few minutes of full light left. At the end of your time, 5 of the floodlights will extinguish and 1 will remain on for a few minutes to light your way to the court exit. Please note that floodlights are used at your own risk; the tokens are not refundable and will not be replaced in the event of loss or failure to operate.
Pay & Play customers may make up to 3, individual 1-hour bookings per week for up to 1 week in advance. Once the weekly limit is reached, all booked sessions must be completed before the weekly cycle repeats.
Just prior to your booked session(s), please go to the Staff Office in the main Beversbrook Sports Facility building (down the corridor to the right of the entrance shop) and collect the court key. You will need to pay for your floodlight tokens and leave a £10 cash deposit (or a valid photo-ID such as a driving licence) for the court key which will be refunded on its return.
Please note that refunds will only be available if Calne Tennis Club cancels your booking for operational reasons.
