Junior group coaching status Wednesday 7th January - Check here for latest update at 3pm on 7th January: 

Our NEW junior coaching term starts on Wednesday 7th January 2026 with 1-hour coaching groups at 4.30, 5.30 and 6.30 on Wednesdays. Each course runs for 7 weeks and they can be joined at any time with the fee reduced pro rata. These courses will be available for booking very soon; please navigate via the 'Coaching' and then 'Junior Coaching' tabs to register (if you have not already registered) and to book.

EASTER TENNIS CAMP Please check back here around mid-March 2026 for details of our junior's Easter Tennis Camp. It will be available for booking via the links on our Coaching / Junior Camps webpage.

WALKING TENNIS

If you are interested in 'walking tennis' then please e-mail us at info@calnetennisclub.com and we will let you know as soon as we have a course available for booking.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

Dates and arrangements for the 2026 Club Championships will available here around the end of February.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership prices will be reduced by 60% from 1st January 2026 for new members for the remainder of the 2025/26 membership year which ends on 31st March 2026.  If you don't want to sign up for the rest of the year but want more than an occasional hour of Pay & Play, then join for a month with our Short Term Membership category via the 'Membership' tab - only £25 a month but note that the new full membership proce is now better value if you want to join for more than 1 month!

We welcome non-member players and those new to tennis to come and have a free 'taster' at the club with one of our social tennis groups or junior coaching groups before making a decision about joining - see the 'Social Tennis' and 'Junior Coaching' tabs for details of the days and times and then contact us at info@calnetennisclub.com to arrange to attend.

Junior Coaching

Our junior group coaching programme is provided by Sid Falconer, LTA Accredited+ Level 3 coach, and Pedro Howe, an LTA qualified Coaching Assistant. Pedro is working towards his LTA Level 2 coaching qualification. Sid is an extremely effective performance coach, excellent with children, and was for several years Britain's men's Deaf Tennis Singles Champion. Louis Warnett, a club member and an LTA Accredited Level 2 coach, will 'hit' and coach teenagers and adults on request - please go to our coaching tabs or email coaching@calnetennisclub.com for more information about group and private coaching.

Pay & Play

We welcome members of the public who are not club members to 'Play & Play' on the courts. Available courts can be booked for an hour for a total (excluding floodlights) of £10 for singles or doubles play. If floodlights are needed then tokens for the lighting meters can be purchased at Beversbrook Sports Facility office. Please click on the 'Court Booking' Tab and follow the 'Pay & Play' instructions for registration, court selection, floodlights and for payment. Pay & Play courts are available as follows:

Monday and Thursday from 9am to 6pm; Tuesday & Friday from 9am to 9pm; Wednesday 9am to 1pm & 7pm to 9pm; Saturday 9am to 5.00pm; and Sunday from 12.30pm to 5.00pm.
