WOMEN’S FIRST TEAM

Amy Wright

Amy is our UTC, and our most senior player across all teams, having been played with us for 4 years. As this may be her last year with us, her drive to win is higher than ever. 

Chloe Efford (1st team captain) 

Chloe is another very well-known individual at the club, both for her tennis playing level and position of Chair. She has the highest success rate at the club to date.

Josie Culliford

Josie is a county-level player, who is excited to continue her playing and competing path with the help of university tennis.

Disha Gaba

Disha came to us straight from the Mourtagolou Tennis Academy and is now going into her second year of study. She has recently had some great results and we are looking forward to what she will bring in the future.

MEN’S SECOND TEAM

James Mumford

A fabulous new addition to the second team at Cardiff Met. He is a very keen player and member of the family.

Joe Kenning

Another new member to the team. He is a very dedicated tennis player, having come back from some time away from the sport, he is as excited as ever to compete again.

Tom Kelsey

Although, now working for Tennis Wales, we are lucky enough to still have Tom as a great option for our second team. He is looking to get the most out of the little time he has left with us.

James Rivers (2nd Team Captain)

An Oxford born and raised  aspiring tennis player, whom brings both his personality and level to every BUCS Wednesday he is involved with. 

Will Sherlock

Will is one of our most hard-working players, this has been proven and appreciated by the superiors at the club as they have pushed him up the rankings massively since last year.

Another new face around the club, and a crucial part of the second team. He puts all his passion and energy into every training session and match he is a part of.
