Central Park Tennis

The tennis courts in Central Park were opened in July 2019 as part of Plymouth City Council major refurbishment of Central Park.  The council has worked closely with the Lawn Tennis Association on the development of this project to provide high quality courts to provide opportunities for the people of Plymouth to access tennis activity. 

The courts offer a fanstic playing experience in a large urban park setting. Close to the city centre and accessible by public transport this park tennis venue is a perfect location to practice your back hand.

4 courts onsite, all newly surfaced are set back off the main pathway of the park. There is access to a cafe, public toilets as well as a large open playspace, golf pitch and putt course, lesuire facilities and a commuity sports hub.

These courts are operated by Plymouth City Council and are managed by a booking and gate access system. The courts can either be booked for 1 hour for £6.20 or you can purchase the Plymouth Park Tennis annual pass for £41 to entitle anyone in your household to book the courts for one year for no additional cost. We also offer a concession rate of £31 (You will be asked to provide proof)
