West Hoe Park

The upgrades of the tennis courts in West Hoe were completed in Sept 2020 as part of Plymouth City Council, city wide strategy for tennis development. The council has worked closely with the Lawn Tennis Association on the development of this project to provide high quality courts to provide opportunities for the people of Plymouth to access tennis activity. 

The courts offer a fanstic playing experience, close to Plymouth Hoe and West Hoe Park. Close to the city centre and accessible by public transport this park tennis venue is a perfect location to come and have a go, play with your family and friends or eevn have a good competative game. 

The 4 courts on  Radford Park Roadin West Hoe have been upgraded to the high spec to provide a superior tennis experience. Alll 4 courts will be upgraded to have a 2 course asphalt surface & new perimeter kerbing. The chain-link fencing will remain with new kickboards, and all nets and posts replaced. There will be a coded gate entry system to which will work in the same way as the new courts at Central Park. 

These courts are operated by Plymouth City Council and are managed by a booking and gate access system. The courts can either be booked for 1 hour for £6 or you can purchase the Plymouth Park Tennis annual pass for £40 to entitle anyone in your household to book the courts for one year for no additional cost. We also offer a concession rate of £30 (You will be asked to provide proof)
