Channel Islands Tennis and Padel

Channel Islands Tennis and Padel LBG (CITAP) is the governing body for Tennis and Padel in the Channel Islands, which together are treated and compete as a county. We are dedicated to promoting and developing Tennis and Padel across the Channel Islands inclusive of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney. Given the distance between the two main islands, Guernsey and Jersey, and their distinct laws and governments, they also have their own governing bodies: Guernsey Tennis and Padel LBG (GTAP) and Jersey Tennis and Padel Limited (JTAP). 

On a practical level, most of the day-to-day game related activities will be organised and carried out by the GTAP in Guernsey and the JTAP in Jersey. Consequently, CITAP will normally limit its activities to:

1. Selection and funding of the Tennis and Padel County Cups and other activities ;

2. Collection and re-distribution of annual subscriptions;

3. Organising and funding of the Play Your Way to Wimbledon Tennis event;

4. Governance and Safeguarding policy; and

5. General administration of the Tennis and Padel.
