We are looking for an experienced coach to lead the delivery of a comprehensive tennis coaching programme incorporating all levels of age and ability, including high-energy group sessions and 1-1's that prioritise both technical development and winning strategies. 

Specifically, the role includes; 

• Delivery of a programme of tennis coaching for junior and adult beginners that focusses on shot development, learning doubles play and game strategies
• Working team captains to continuously improve more established players, allowing them to progress their game 
• Ensure compliance with all LTA coaching safeguarding standards
• Deliver a fun, engaging and high quality programme of Holiday clubs and activities, open to members and non members and out reach in local schools
• Leading and managing the existing coaching team and acting as a role model by demonstrating professional coaching behaviours 
• Recruit and develop new coaches, as appropriate 
• Support parents in the organisation of Junior teams, competitions and fixtures
• Organise parent meetings and communicate regularly raising any concerns/issues.
• Deliver LTA initiatives at the club, as approrpriate
• Be regularly around the club speaking to members.
• Represent the club as required in team fixtures

Person Specification

• LTA Level 4 or an experienced Level 3 Coach, who wants to progress to Level 4/5
• Proven track record of delivering high quality coaching across various age groups and skill levels 
• High levels of knowledge and expertise on safeguarding.
• Ability to effectively manage a coaching team with a range of experience and qualifications.
• Motivated, reliable and driven to increase and improve/innovate the tennis programme offer
• Great interpersonal skills
