Chepstow Tennis Club is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk who engage in all tennis activities.

Whether you/your child are engaging in coaching, matches or other organised events, we will strive to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe and free from harm.

Julia Hitchcock is the Welfare Officer (what is the Welfare Officer role?) for Chepstow Tennis Club. Julia and any member of the Sub-Committee are available to discuss any concerns or worries you may have - welfareofficer@chepstowtennis.club.

A message from Julia:
As an avid player and player of Tennis, I can often be found on or around the courts, enjoying social tennis, and supporting teams during the summer and winter leagues. I have a long standing background in Scouting, running 1st Shirenewton Beavers for 17 years and I’m also a working Trustee for a fabulous charity in Newport. I have gained the Lawn Tennis Association Safeguarding qualification, with a view to safeguard and protect members who may need support. Members who wish to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that I shall deal with it sensitively, confidentially, discreetly and with honesty of purpose .
