Rob joined Church Broughton as a Coach in May 2020 and became Head Coach in April 2022.

Rob passionately believes that no matter what your age tennis can bring you happiness, life skills and friendship. If you're interested in tennis at Church Broughton please do get in touch with Rob!

As a player Rob represented Derbyshire as a junior and went to play college tennis in America. More recently he has been Chair of Derbyshire Tennis Association, won seniors titles at the Derbyshire Closed and is the current Captain of Derbyshire 45+ men. Rob's three children - Phoebe, Stanley and Ned - all enjoy tennis and have all attended County Training.

Rob is the Manager of the Derbyshire under 9s and under 10 boys and also runs several other coaching sessions - including Teeny Tiny Tennis for under 5s - via his own Serve and Volley website.
