PLEASE RESPECT THE FOLLOWING GUIDANCE SO THE CLUB CAN STAY OPEN.

DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19.

The safety of the Members, Staff & Coaches is our priority and we are strictly following LTA & Government guidelines to allow the outdoor courts to open. Indoor courts will remain shut along with the clubhouse. THIS MEANS NO TOILETS ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE. Please read the following rules/guidance to promote safe play.

Before and After Play

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before leaving home to go to the court. Please also wash hands when you return home.
  • You must pre-book a court to be able to play.
  •  If you have hand sanitizer please bring it with you so you can disinfect your hands.
  • There will be no equipment available to borrow so please bring your own. Once you have returned home please clean and wipe down your equipment.
  • Bring your own tennis balls that are clearly MARKED with your initials.

Travelling to and from the court

  •  Avoid using public transport.
  •  Arrive as close as possible to your booking.
  •  Allow others to leave the court before you enter. There is plently of space around the perimeter of the courts to keep your distance.
  •  Please leave the court 5 minutes before the end of your booking so that it is empty for the next players.
  • Arrive changed and ready to play.
  • Do not congregate after playing. No extra-curricular or social activity should take place.

Maintaining Social Distancing

  • Stay at least two metres away from other players at ALL TIMES.
  • Do not make physical contact with other players.
  • Stay on your side of the court and avoid changing ends - or agree to change ends at opposite sides of the net.
  • Avoid chasing the ball down to another court if other players are on it.
  • Avoid using your hands to pick up tennis balls that aren't yours. Use your racket/foot to hit/kick them to your opponnet or return them to another court.
  • Avoid using the net handles.
  • Avoid touching your face and if you need to sneeze or cough, do so into a tissue or upper sleeve.

We really do hope all members follow the LTA's Guidelines to help the club stay open. If only a small minority of members are seen to break the rules we will have no choice but to shut the courts. Any questions please contact Bill or Max.
