Membership from 1 April 2020
We are delighted that you are considering joining Cocks and Hens Cambridge Tennis. The membership period is from 1 April to 31 March 2021 and the current subscriptions are detailed below.

You may join either
- online by clicking on the appropriate package below
- by completing a Membership form – available in the Clubhouse or just click here to request.
Payment may be made either:
- Online using the Go Cardless link, which enables you to pay via a single direct payment from your account;
- By BACS to Barclays Bank, Sort code: 20-17-19, Account number: 40275220;
- By cheque made out to Cocks and Hens LTC.
Special deals!
Mini-juniors (aged 9 and under on 1 January) pay just £5! and get a £5 discount off each of our group coaching courses and for each term a course is booked. So effectively you get your £5 back straight away if you join a coaching course and get discounts on holiday camps too!
Families – just pay the adult subscription for one or two adults. All children in the same family join free!!
Guests
Any visitor is welcome to play at the Club with a member for up to five times a year by paying the visitor fee. Prospective New Members may play up to three times free of charge.
Daily Visitor Fees
Adult visitors: £5 per hour per guest
Juniors/students £2 per hour per guest
British Tennis Membership (BTM)
The Cocks and Hens is affiliated to the LTA and so all members of the Club are entitled to receive free British Tennis Lite membership and to opt into the Club's ballot for Wimbledon tickets. However, this is not automatic and you will need to go to the LTA website LTA.org.uk/membership to register, where you will automatically be issued with your British Tennis Membership number. Benefits of membership include:
- Access to the British Tennis Wimbledon Ballot (though the Cocks and Hens ballot)
- British Tennis Rating
- Regular online communications
By paying £20, you can become a British Tennis Team member, which entitles you to a further range of benefits including priority tickets for other major events (e.g. Queen’s Club, Eastbourne and the Davis Cup) and international Grand Slams (e.g. the French Open), personal accident insurance and discounts with Tennis.net.
Memberships
Associate 2020-2021
01/04/2020 - 31/03/2021
Adult aged over 18 on 1 January 2020. Play restricted to Mon-Fri 9am -5pm and to team practices, tournaments and matches. May enrol for courses, including those outside their restricted hours, and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible for Wimbledon draw and to play in Club teams but not eligible to play in Club sessions outside restricted hours.

Family Group 1 2020-2021

Where one parent joins as a Family Member, all their children (who satisfy the criteria for juniors and live at the same address) automatically become members. Can play at any time of day, may enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Each family member, including all children aged 11 or over by 22 February 2020, may be entered for the Wimbledon draw.

Applies to students aged 18 and under on 1 January 2020. Junior Members can play at any time of day. They may enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible to play for both Junior and Senior teams, in Junior and Senior Club tournaments and to enter the Wimbledon draw, provided they were aged 11 or over on 22 February 2020.

Mini Junior 2020-2021

Applies to children aged 9 and under on 1 January 2020. Mini Juniors can play at any time of day and are eligible to play in teams and in junior club tournaments.
Eligibility: Not eligible to enter the Wimbledon draw.

Non Playing 2020-2021

Non playing members (previously known as social members) may participate in any event from the Club's social programme on the same basis, and at the same rates, as Full Members. They may use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: They are eligible to enter the Wimbledon draw.

Parent Practice 2020-2021

Allows parents, grandparents or guardians, who do not wish to commit themselves to play as a Full Member, to hit solely with their children, grandchildren or wards, who should themselves be Junior Members.
Eligibility: Eligible for the Wimbledon draw and to enrol for courses. May use the croquet lawn.

Senior 2020-2021

Adults aged 75 and over on 1st January 2020 and who have been a member of the club for over 10 years. Can play any time of day. May play in any of the regular Club sessions, enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
Eligibility: Eligible for Club tournaments, teams and the Wimbledon draw.

Applies to individuals in full-time education (on production of an NUS card) on 1st January 2020. Student Members can play at any time of day, including Club sessions. They may enrol for courses and use the croquet lawn.
