Club Sessions

Due to COVID-19, we would recommend the use of disinfectant wipes to wipe down the gate handle, net winder etc. before and after use. A bottle of hand sanitiser would also be useful. Clean your hands before you touch the tennis balls, on and off during the match and after you have finished. We know that this may seem like common sense, but safety and your health are the most important things.

CLUB TENNIS SESSIONS are held for club members twice a week on:

  • Sunday mornings (11:00am – 1:00pm) - turn up and play, AND
  • Wednesday evenings - we run two organised sessions for a maximim of 12 members providing 90 mins of doubles matchplay (7:00pm to 8.30pm and 8.30pm to 10:00pm).  We also run open sessions once a month to just turn up and play.

Wednesday organised club sessions are booked via our 'CLTC Sessions 'What'sApp group on a first come first served basis.

We are a fully inclusive club and offer tennis for all irrelevant of age, ability and financial circumstances. Established in 1967 the club has grown and developed significantly and now has three floodlight courts with over 100 players, both adult and juniors, representing the club in competitive matches as well as a similar number of players who prefer to play socially.   It is this balance that makes us different from the larger tennis centres across Hertfordshire and helps us create a fantastic social atmosphere.

We are proud achievers of the LTA Tennismark status - a best practice accreditation implemented by Sports England which means Codicote Tennis Club maintains good standards and operates best practice.

All levels are welcome.
