Tennis Playing Events
Grand Slam Tournaments
We have our four themed Grand Slam Tournaments which will be fun team events that members have to sign up for. There will be choice of playing short singles matches, mens and ladies doubles as well as mixed matches. All your scores will be added to the team.
Much Wenlock Olympics Festival
Cound Tennis Club are proud to host the tennis event of the Much Wenlock Olympics Festival each year. This is open to adults as well as junior categories. There are some wonderful olympic medals to be won! This year we ran a wooden rackets competition which was inclusive for all abilities of our members and was great fun. We hope to run this again annually.

Memorial Tournaments
Cound Tennis Club has a rich history of long standing members, many of whom have dedicated significant effort and time into making the club successful since its founding. We are proud to honour past members by running Memorial tournaments to pay homage to their contributions.
Charity tournament
We also run a ladies doubles Charity tournament - this is open to all lady tennis players from around the county to raise money for our club and local charities.

We hold an annual quiz for all friends and members of the club at the back end of each year. Check the calendar for details. Please join us!

EVENTS FOR JUNIORS
Tennis Playing Events
Family Tennis Tournament
Juniors and their families can participate in the LTA Family Tennis tournament. This involves each child playing with an adult in a doubles tennis round robin format using mini red balls. This is always a fun event, not too serious tennis and inclusive for all.
Easter Bunny Smash, Summer Smash and Halloween Monster Smash tournaments
During the school holidays there are fun competitions such as; Easter Bunny Smash, Summer Smash and Halloween Monster Smash tournament.
Junior Tournaments
There are also tournaments for each level of junior players from red, to orange, to green to hard ball. We encourage our players and junior teams to enter outside tournaments such as the County Open and the County Fun Tournaments.
