Facility Information
New Clubhouse Information
We are delighted to report that the Clubhouse is now complete and open for all members to use!
There is a key safe box on the left hand side of the Clubhouse which contains the keys for the Clubhouse right hand door and the toilet, which has a separate external door, marked up with a red tag ‘WC’.
The kitchen has coffee, tea and long life milk so we hope members will enjoy being able to have a cuppa and a chat before or after playing tennis; especially useful when the weather is inclement! There are 2 radiators which can be turned on if needed. (However if used please make sure they are turned off upon leaving including any lights).
There will be a modest charge of 25p for hot drinks, 10p for squash. To avoid having cash on the premises, there will be an honesty book. Please record the date, your name and the number of hot and/or cold drinks that you consume or offer to others (it's a cheap round!). You will be notified periodically of the amount you owe and how to pay it. Team captains, please record the name of your team and that of the opposition as well as the date and number of drinks.
A cleaner will be coming in once a week to clean the toilet. Please don’t flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.
It would be appreciated if members would look after the Clubhouse by clearing up after using the facility. Please ensure you lock up both the clubhouse and toilet when leaving returning the keys to the key safe.
All courts may now be accessed using the code lock on the bottom courts. The padlock on the separate gate access to the top courts remains in place for use if required.
Free Floodlight Usage
All floodlight tennis is currently free until further notice.
To turn the lights on, simply turn the switch inside the token box. As all the floodlights are now Led’s, the lights come on immediately. Please remember to turn the lights off as you leave.
The floodlights are set to prevent use prior to 3pm and after 10pm.
Guests and Fees
Guests to the club are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult member and pay a fee. Please go to Club Rules for full details.
First Aid
Lower and Upper Courts: Mini first aid kits are situated in the green floodlight token boxes. If used please email Jenny Chambers so she can top up as necessary-thank you.
Our Health & Safety webpage includes an Accident/Incident Form which should be completed in the event of an accident on the courts.
