Patrick leads the coaching programme here at Cuckfield Tennis Club.   He is DBS checked and a trained first aider.   He also has tennis coaching accreditations with the PTR and LTA.

Patrick has been a professional coach since 2012, when he joined Service Line, with a further six years training as an assistant.   His experiences span across Europe in a number of tennis resorts, schools and academies.

He began his coaching career at Edgbaston Priory Club and has spent time working at David Lloyd, plus time abroad at Mark Warner.   Patrick is Head Tennis Coach at the University of Sussex where, for the past two seasons, both the Men's First and Second Teams have been promoted.   His other current responsibilities include delivering first team training sessions at Ardingly College and Lancing College.

Patrick's coaching philosophy has been built from exposure to high end coaching environments and through continuously striving to develop his understanding of the fundamental building blocks of each stroke and the effective teaching methods behind them. He prides himself on encouraging active participation in developmental coaching through hitting exercises and match play.

Patrick has also headed up the Epsom Elite Tennis Academy at Epsom College for the past four years. Working alongside his team of coaches he looks to offer a varied and inclusive tennis experience to all that attend using modern coaching methods and up to date technology to enhance the players experiences.
