New members are always welcome.   Come and join our inclusive friendly community.

We welcome new members of any ability.   Membership benefits are shown below, our different membership classes and fees are shown on the Subscriptions tab.   To join our club, take a look at our How to Join page, which has step by step instructions.   Step one is to send an email to membership@cuckfieldtennisclub.org.uk.   If you know the type of membership you are seeking, please include that in the email and whether you wish to pay the deposit for a key (recommended).   

Prospective members are most welcome to join one of the social sessions to try out courts and meet other members to see whether they would like to join.  Please let us know so that one of the committee can be there to welcome you.  

Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.

Membership Benefits

1. Play whenever you like for free (subject to court availability and event bookings).   Members must book courts to avoid clashes.
2. Adult members with a key have access to the clubhouse, changing facilities and toilets.
3. Turn up and play Adult Social tennis takes place four times each week.  The times change between winter and summer depending upon the light.  Check the Social Times pages for current times.  There is usually club play on Saturday afternoons and the Ladies play on a Monday morning throughout the year.  During the summer, there is also usually play on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
4. The club organises a limited amount of free coaching, mostly on a Saturday afternoon.   Take a look at the Adult Coaching page for full details.
5. There is Junior Coaching on a Wednesday afternoon after school (subject to light) and Saturday mornings.  Members receive a discount.
6. There is a licensed bar which is opened during the weekly club tennis times and social events.
7. Adult members have free use of our new Lobster ball machine (must be pre-booked and for use on courts 1 and 3 only)
8. Tennis balls are available in the clubhouse for use at the club.
9. Members may participate in the LTA club members Wimbledon ballot (you will need to opt in) and there are a range of other LTA benefits.   Details are on the LTA website.
10. There is an exciting range of social and tennis events arranged throughout the year open to all Members.  Refer to the Events Calendar for more details.
11. Club Members receive discounts at some local retailers.   Please always show your club membership card to receive the discount.   The current retailers offering discounts are:-

• Wisdom Sports, South Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 4LE,  offer a 10% discount on tennis-related equipment that is not already discounted.
• Upcountry Garden Centre, Lewes Road, Scaynes Hill, RH17 7NG,  offer a 10% discount to Members.
