- Presentations - will be held on court at the Club on finals day.
Format:
- Finals Day - first and foremost, please ensure you are available for Finals Day (Sunday 7th Sept) if you plan on entering the tournament.
- New for 2026 - a consolation draw has been introduced, so if you are knocked out in the 1st round, you will automatically be placed in the consolatoin draw, so once again please ensure you are available for Finals Day (Sunday 7th Sept).
- Entry Form - complete ASAP and send OR hand to Pat.
- Events - confirm on the form which event(s) you wish to enter.
- Entrants - will be expected to prioritise the tournament and it's scheduling format so that matches get completed on time. If this is something that you feel will be difficult, please do not enter.
- The draw - will be displayed/updated here on the Club website, Club hut and car park noticeboards, WhatsApp groups and Facebook.
- Partner - if you're struggling to find a partner for a doubles event, please contact Pat and he'll assist in helping you find one.
Tournament format:
- Matches - are the best of three sets with a third set championship tie break, which must be won by two clear points.
- Results - please contact Pat once the match has completed with your result so the draw can be updated quickly.
Match scheduling:
- Courts - please ensure you book courts online when arranging your matches.
- Deadlines - for each round there will be a deadline date in which you are expected to play your fixture. Please make sure it is completed by then. If it is not, then the person's name who is at the top of the scheduled match will go through.
- Balls - please provide your own tennis balls.
- Finals Day - in the event of very bad weather, we will look to reschedule the Finals Day.
- Late Start - if you are 20 minutes late for the scheduled match, you will concede the first set.
- Late Start - if you are 40 minutes late for the scheduled match, you will concede the match.
Other information:
- Spectators - If you do not plan on entering then please come on down and support the Finals Day, it would be most appreciated.
