Committee member Simon Davies was recently contacted by a representative of the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) at Malpas Court Primary School, enquiring if Cwmbran Tennis Club would be willing to provide a raffle prize in support of the schools up and coming Summer fete.

All monies raised from raffle donations is fed directly into the school to purchase supplies, equipment and educational tools and materials for the pupils of Malpas Court Primary.

The Club's committee were more than happy to support the local school and donated the following equipment as a raffle prize:

• Pair of Junior sized tennis racquets with covers
• Tube of tennis balls
• Pair of wrist sweatbands with Club logo inprinted
