DLTC Finals Day – September 14
The DLTC Club Championship reached its exciting conclusion on 14 September, with finals staged across singles, doubles, and mixed events. Despite a poor weather forecast, most matches went ahead after the schedule was brought forward.
It was a day to celebrate the full breadth of our club’s talent, from junior players to seasoned veterans, with fantastic support courtside. While a number of matches remain rescheduled, we were treated to superb competition and great sporting spirit throughout the day.
Highlights included:

Junior success for Alfie, who impressively won both the 9U and 10U titles.

Reuben and Suliman capturing the 14U and 18U Boys singles respectively.

Bodie and Daniel champions of the 18U Boys Doubles.

Andy Guy lifting the Men’s Singles title and pairing with Steve Guy for the Men’s Doubles crown.

James Hodges & Megan Ransford clinching the Mixed Doubles.

Veterans’ glory for Mark Gillinson & Martin Abel (Men’s Vets Doubles) and Rob Jansen & Sue Rhodes (Mixed Vets Doubles).

Box League Champion – James Hodges, unbeaten through the rounds and winner of the final against Hugh Pile.
