Welcome to Nether Heyford Tennis Club
Nether Heyford Tennis Club
Nether Heyford Tennis Club is a small friendly tennis club based at the playing fields in Nether Heyford in the heart of Northamptonshire.
We have 3 floodlit hard courts resurfaced and painted in Summer 2020, and regularly maintained.
The courts are available for members' use at any time, subject to regular social tennis and match bookings. If you would like to come down to take a look and meet some of our members, please get in touch. We are always very happy for players to come and join in a couple of social tennis sessions before deciding whether to become a member.
NHTC offers regular adult coaching, provided by Tennis4all. All coaches are fully qualified and LTA-registered.
The club also enters Ladies', Men's and Mixed teams into the Northamptonshire Summer and Winter Leagues.
We issue an occasional newsletter - the latest was in May 2025.

Congratulations to the winners of our 2025 Heyford Cup!
A mixed doubles competition drawing from other small clubs throughout the area. A great day had by all cheering on your favourite team, watching some fantastic tennis and indulging in the large quanitity of snacks everyone brought along. Huge congratulations go to:

COMING UP:
2025 competitions
OK, the Heyford Cup has now been played so now join us for:
- 22nd June - The Battle of Heyford - open to NHTC members only. Two mixed teams of at least 4 players take each other on in a variety of singles and doubles competitions.
- TBC - The Club Championships - Mixed, Ladies' and Men's Doubles tournaments, open to NHTC members. Rock up, be matched to a partner (by our ‘special’ AI algorithm!) and stand a chance of becoming a club champion!
Wimbledon Special
Wimbledon is one of the most iconic Tennis tournaments in the World. Are you inspired by the tennis greats? Do you want to give it a go? Then look at our Wimbledon special offering both an annual membership and inclusive access to group coaching during June & July.
