Nether Heyford Tennis Club
Nether Heyford Tennis Club is a small friendly tennis club based at the playing fields in Nether Heyford in the heart of Northamptonshire.
We have 3 floodlit hard courts resurfaced and painted in Summer 2020, and regularly maintained.
The courts are available for members' use at any time, subject to regular social tennis and match bookings. If you would like to come down to take a look and meet some of our members, please get in touch. We are always very happy for players to come and join in a couple of social tennis sessions before deciding whether to become a member.
NHTC offers regular adult coaching, provided by Tennis4all. All coaches are fully qualified and LTA-registered.
The club also enters Ladies', Men's and Mixed teams into the Northamptonshire Summer and Winter Leagues.
We issue an occasional newsletter - the latest was in February 2024.

COMING UP:
Annual Subs and Open Day, Sunday 7 April 2024, from 10:00am
The Subs day used to be a time for members to come down and hand over cash or cheques to pay their subscriptions for the tennis year ahead. Now almost all membership fees are paid online, this is more of an Open Day for anyone at all to come down and have a game. An ideal opportunity to give tennis and the club a try out if you are thinking of joining.
Heyford Cup, Sunday 14 April 2024, arrive 9:45am to start play at 10:00am.
A Mixed Doubles tournament open to players from small clubs (max 4 courts). Find your partner and sign up for this fun and competitive event. Silverware and a cash prize on offer! ****Update 12/02/24 this event is now fully subscribed - please get in touch to add your name to the reserve list****
Battle of Heyford - Sunday 23 June
Open to Heyford members only. Two mixed teams of at least 4 players take each other on in a variety of singles and doubles competitions. No entry fee or fancy prizes, this is competing for bragging rights only. Look out for more details.
