Foster & Tapp Crowned 2025 Men’s Over 35’s Wimbledon Doubles Champions!

Devon Tennis is proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by two of our dedicated masters players—Ricki Foster and Adam Tapp, who have officially claimed the title of 2025 Men’s Over 35’s Wimbledon Doubles Champions!

On Saturday 16th August, Foster and Tapp showcased grit and composure as they overcame the impressive pairing of Tom Dean and Jonny Tompson, who had knocked out the tournament’s top seeds in the semi-finals. The final score: 6-2, 4-6, 10-4.

After a strong start in the first set, the Devon duo faced a setback in the second, dropping two close service games. But they regrouped brilliantly and played aggressive, confident tennis to dominate the third-set tie-break and secure the win.

Already the current Devon Men’s Open Age Group Doubles Champions, this Wimbledon victory adds another prestigious title to their growing list of accomplishments and highlights the strength of masters tennis in our county.
