Club Championships

Dumfries Tennis Club runs a club championship every year which is open to all paid up members of the Sports Club.

The ties will be played during June, July, August and September with the Finals Day planned for the 1st of September.

For 2024 we have set a final's date of September 1st with the rounds being completed as listed below.
Finals - 1st Sept
Semi Finals - August,
Quarter Finals - July & August,
Round of 32 & 16 - May, June & July

If any round of matches are not completed in the above relevant months then the bottom player in each match will be awarded a walk-over unless there is a genuine reason. Players at the top of each match are asked to sort the matches in a suitable timescale or report back if they are struggling for a suitable agreed date.

The Gents and Women's Handicap doubles events are draw for adult partners but we will allow adults to pick a junior partner or a junior to pick another younger junior and again this year we will allow a named partner for the Mixed Doubles handicap event and also a draw for partners, so please enter and enjoy the occasion.
