We offer a great junior programme here at East Wavertree and have many successful junior players ranging from club, county and regional players. Our coaching team dedicate a lot of time to building a club community with children who attend for lessons and camps to make tennis enjoyable and a great learning environment. We have a Monday Junior Night Coaching Evening. We run classes for all ages starting with Tots Tennis (aged 3), right up to 18 on our teenage squad. We also run a teenage development squad on a Saturday afternoon (by invite only). Please see our timetable below to see which session best suits your child. 

As well as our Monday coaching evening we run our very popular holiday camps. This is a great way to introduce children who are new to tennis in a fun, relaxed environment during the holidays. Our camps run for children of school age (4) again up until aged 18. They are split into different groups with their coach and play many different tennis based and ball based games each day. We offer full week and sibling discount on camps during Easter, May, Summer and October Holidays. We have all break and lunch times in our clubhouse allowing children to socialise and break indoors refuelling for the day. 

We also offer opportunities for our juniors to compete in Lancashire County Leagues, Liverpool League and our Annual Club Championships. This offers different levels of competition to suit all, some in friendly internal environments and others more competitive. We also offer Young Leaders Course once a year for our upcoming teenagers to gain a Leaders qualification and assist with coaches going forward. The club hosts an annual junior awards night and have a great community of parents and players. 

All coaches offer 1:2:1 sessions to both children and adults. All coaches are LTA Qualified and Accredited. Please see coaching profiles for more information.
